The programme has two assessment points:
- Recognising prior learning – This is an optional assessment point that you can take if you want to use previous learning or experience to exempt you from some of the modules. More information can be found under Recognition of prior learning.
- The Work-based activity – This is undertaken by everyone. It is based on a scenario and asks you to answer specific questions, giving you the opportunity to draw together all your learning from the modules in an integrated way.
Both pieces of assessment are reviewed by the same group of Learning Advisors who are with you throughout the programme. If you successfully complete the Work-based activity, you will receive your International Funders’ Award in management skills for researchers and have the right to put that on your CV.
